Neighborhood
Nestled in the Lower Garden District, we are only half a block from the historic St. Charles Avenue, where all the major historic and largest Mardi Gras parades pass down and viewable from the front balcony! Not to mention we’re half a block from the Streetcar line! So, you can easily hop on and ride to any part of our gorgeous city, like the aquarium or Audubon park and zoo. Or if you’re up for a leisurely stroll we are 4 blocks from downtown and 12 blocks from the French Quarter. We wanted to remind you and your guests that it is a residential neighborhood and beyond being respectful to them - I’m sure everyone can appreciate strict city ordinances that govern noise curfews. We want to be sure that your visit is memorable, we just don’t to disturb our neighborhood in the process. Should you have any specific questions, please let us know!!
Guest Access
You'll find easily accessible free street parking other than during Mardi Gras. There is a streetcar (trolly) system in New Orleans, and the nearest stop is only 1 block away! The fare is $1.25, exact change only, and you pay onboard the streetcar in a small machine by the door. Uber/Lyft is affordable and a great option or you can catch a pedi-cab or rent a bicycle.
